Hair Extensions

Hair comes in many qualities, and apart from the method of attachment (we only do wefted), the quality of the hair will determin how good your finished hair extensions look. At The Wiggins, we only deal in top quality human hair. We won't deal in synthetic hair, as we believe it can't be made to look good - basically it's plastic!

We supply Russian, Spanish, and Indian hair extensions. The Russian is the most popular as it looks good and wears well, if cared for properley. We put all our hair onto wefts, some are machine made, but most are handmade. The main advantage of handmade wefts is they can be undone and altered if you want to change your hair colour.

Once the extension weft is made it is attached to your scalp by sewing the weft to a small braid made of your own hair. The hair above the braid falls down and covers the braid and weft.

Hair extension care

Hair extensions are easy to look after, if you give them the time they need, as you would if you own hair was longer. The most important thing to do is to keep them well conditioned with a moisturizing conditioner.

Hair extension length

We dont recommend hair extension lengths any longer than 22"/24" as they can be heavy to wear. We find the most popular length is 18" as this is a comfortable fit and looks the most natural.
